Welcome to the Olmos Park Fire Department. We have 16 full-time fire fighters, including one paramedic.
Our mission is to provide service of the highest quality in fire and EMS protection for the residents and businesses of the City. We strive to serve with compassion and caring. Through on-going training and education, we pledge to continue the tradition of providing our citizens with the very best fire and EMS protection.
Free Smoke Alarms
Smoke alarms save lives. We will provide and install a free smoke alarm for every bedroom and common living area that currently does not have one for anyone living in Olmos Park. The first 9-volt battery is included and should be replaced each year when you change your clocks for daylight savings time.
Smoke alarms should be replaced every ten years. If you have alarms that you would like tested and evaluated for replacement we can help.
