The Boards and Commissions serve in an advisory capacity to the City Council on various issues. Olmos Park has the following Boards and Commissions:
Planning and Zoning Commission (meets last Friday at 5 pm)
Zoning Board of Adjustment (meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 4:30 pm as needed)
If you have an item that needs to come before one of these Boards, please contact City Hall.
If you are interested in serving on an Olmos Park Board or Commission, please send a letter to the Mayor stating your interest. Other pertinent information you may want to consider including: prior community and/or public service, why you are interested in serving on a particuar Board or Commission, and all relevant contact information.
When it comes time for the Council to make appointments, you may be contacted to appear before Council to discuss the possibility of serving on an Olmos Park Board or Commission.
